Brett Alexander (Bear) Walker was born February 9, 1992 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston. He graduated from Win-E-Mac High School in 2010 and was employed at Fuel-N-Things in Erskine.

He will forever be remembered as the boy with the enormous heart filled with genuine love and respect for those around him. His smile was forever present and he was always there to offer words of support, acts of kindness and generosity. Brett never spoke poorly about anyone, and always put others before himself. He brought such joy and happiness who were lucky enough to share a piece of his life including his many friends, classmates, and of course his family.

Brett’s passion of hunting and fishing were shared with his loving father and little brother. Many jokes, long talks and crazy adventures were shared out on their hunting excursions. Brett also enjoyed all kinds of sports, especially watching the Vikings, Twins, and the WWE. You would often find Brett outside with his dogs or playing catch with his brother Jake.

Brett will be deeply missed by us all. He may have left this world too quickly, but he will forever remain in our hearts.

Come celebrate the life of our blessed son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. Those who have been blessed by Brett’s kind and generous heart include his parents, Jeff and Lauri Walker; brother Jacob Walker, all at home in Erskine; and sister Whitney McMenamy of Illinois.
