LAPORTE - Mollie B. McFadden, 60, of 3854 U.S. 35 S, died of natural causes at 5 a.m. Thursday in her home. Mrs. McFadden was a former employee of American Home Foods. She was born May 4, 1930, in Lambric, Ky., and lived in this area for 35 years after moving from Knox. On Oct. 28, 1950, in Knox, she married Edward Leon "Mac" McFadden, who survives. Also surviving are three daughters, Beverly Kuta of Rolling Prairie, Diana Garrard of Salt Lake City (s/b Lake Point, UT), and Lisa Linebaugh of Munich, Germany; three sons, James of California, Jerry of Michigan City, and Tim of LaPorte; 12 grandchildren; three sisters, Nell Conley and Marg Sumner, both of Wildwood, Fla., and Della Collins of Royalton, Ky.; and three brothers, Arlie Collins and Granis Collins, both of Wildwood, and A.B. Collins of North Judson. She was a member of Baptist Missionary Church.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Haverstock Funeral Home, LaPorte. Burial will be in Kingsbury Cemetery, Kingsbury. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, and until time of services Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
