Anthony D. Lane, 84, of Granite Shoals, TX passed away Aug. 19, 2014. He was born May 26, 1930, in New Rochelle, N.Y. to Robert and Catherine Lane.

Lane served in the U.S. Navy for 26 years retiring at the rank of LCDR. While serving his country, he furthered his education earning a Master's in Personnel Administration from Georgetown University, Washington DC.

Following his military career, he went to work for the Texas Department of Health as Chief of Staff Services in Austin, Texas. After working 11 years for the Texas Department of Health, he retired to Granite Shoals, Texas.

Lane was preceded in death by his first wife Elizabeth Bullock Lane and is survived by his wife, Mary and his three children and spouses and significant others, Susan, Daniel and Janet, Steven and Scott; three grandchildren Ryan, Alan, and Andrew as well as Mary's four children, ten grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Aug. 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Clements-Wilcox Funeral Home, Marble Falls followed by an interment service with military honors at Lakeland Hills Cemetery.
