Anna Ruth Anderson, 86, of Brunswick, MO died on Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Brunswick Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at Breshears Memorial Chapel, Brunswick, MO, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. Reverend Kentrell Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, KS. Anna was born on October 9, 1927 in Chariton County, MO the daughter of Homer Clarence and Mary Anna Morgan Banks. She graduated from Dalton High School in 1946. She was married to Reuben Dan Anderson on April 18, 1953 at Brunswick, MO. Reuben preceded her in death on August 10, 2002. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church at Brunswick, MO. She is survived by her children; Carolyn Ellington and her husband Marvin of Brunswick, MO, Elizabeth Martin and her husband Elroy of Glasgow, MO, Sherman Anderson of Fayette, MO and Valerie Anderson of Boonville, MO; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one son, Tyrone Anderson. Pallbearers will be Marvin Ellington, Jr, Marcus Davis, Michael Anderson, Zach Johnson and Anthony Williams. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tonya Johnson, Tamala Anderson, Rana Martin, Marlo Williams, Rochelle Terrill and Tamika Terrill.
