Han bejgynde med handel og expedisjon an rutebåtar bygd stove i 1918, dreiv handel til 1931" which translates "Andreas bought a vacated business at Knardal and built a pier and country store in 1906 (at farm unit # 2). He was in America from 1888 to 1903, went to the gold diggings, did salmon fishing [in Alaska] and then did railroad work in Minnesota. He began a business and also handled the business of a coastal steamer, built a cottage in 1918, was in business until 1931."
