Mrs. Mamie O. Houser
Mrs. Mamie O. Houser, 75, of Dallas and formerly of Waco and a World War II veteran died Sunday in a Dallas hospital. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Doyle Lawless officiating.
Mrs. Houser was born Jan. 27, 1912, in Tyler. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Dallas and a former member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Waco. She worked for many years in Texas Fireproof Storage in Waco.
Mrs. Houser was married to Richard H. Houser in 1946, in Waco. He died in 1975. She served three years in World War II in the Army Air Corps.
Survivors include two brothers, T. A. Sanders of Hico and Jack Sanders of Dallas; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Sams of Hico and Mrs. Jo Billie Mehaffey of Austin.
