Patrick Arthur Lane, 52, passed away early Thursday morning, August 21, 2014 at Portneuf Medical Center due to an extended illness.

Pat was born on June 26, 1962 at Mountain Home Air Force Base in Idaho to Ben and Donna Lane, who later divorced when Pat was age 3. Donna then married Bud Bock, who raised Pat to be the shining star that we all knew and loved.

Pat joined the Navy and traveled the world “making memories” and oh how he enjoyed sharing those memories and telling his stories to all. Pat attended Highland High School and later graduated from ISU with a degree in Business Machine Repair.

Pat married his best friend and soul mate, Jodi Packer, and became a father to Josh Packer (Nichole) and two precious grandchildren aka, “the little people”, Iailey, and Brody. Pat’s life was finally complete with the arrival of his daughter, the love of his life, Ashley Donna Lane. She was his everything.

Pat is survived by his wife Jodi, son Josh (Nichole), daughter Ashley, mother Donna Bock, brothers Russell Bock, Brian Bock, Mark Payne, sisters Susan Davis, Becky Bock, and in-laws Barton Packer and Raylene (Charlie) Perkins.

Pat was a prime example of how to enjoy life to the fullest and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Rest in Peace Pat.

Military rites will be performed by The Pocatello Veterans Honor Guard at Restlawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 1:00pm with a Celebration of Life to follow at the Alameda Park Pavillion, the corner of Wayne and Pine.
