Wendell - Robert "Mack" Liles, 71, passed away Saturday. He was born in Franklin County to the late Robert & Nettie Jane Pearce Liles.
He was retired from Lance Inc. After retirement Mack enjoyed farming and selling produce. He was preceded in death by sisters; Ruby Duke, Peggy Gay, Jane Hawley, and Shirley Hood.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years; Billie Cain Liles of Wendell, daughter; Lisa Liles Gruber (Dave) of Houston, TX, sons; Robert Liles, Jr. of Wendell, David Liles (Tammy) of Zebulon, sisters; Brenda West and Mary O'Neal, both of Zebulon, grandchildren; George & Jay Gruber, several nieces & nephews and special dog, Wags.
Funeral service 3 pm, Tuesday, Strickland Funeral Home Chapel, 211 W. Third St., Wendell with visitation from 1:30 pm – 3 pm, prior to the service & other times at the home. Burial, Greenmount Cemetery.
