Mrs. Cletus Rumley Wright, 83, of Windchase court, died May 6, 1995, at High Point Regional Hospital. She was born on July 7, 1911, in Guilford County, a daughter of Foster Cornelius and Carrie Elizabeth Preston Rumley. She was a retired employee of Adams-Millis Hosiery Mill She attended Green Street Baptist Church. In 1925, she married Grady Earl Southern, who preceded her in death in 1946. In 1953, she married Archie Wright, who preceded her in 1982.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Soots, of the home, and Mrs. Shirley Beagell, of Bonifay, Florida; two sister, Mrs. Carrie Fagan, of High Point, and Mrs. Ruby Turner, of Merritt Island, Florida; four grandchildren, eight great--grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Sechrest Chapel on E. Lexington Avenue by Dr. Elliott Stewart. Burial will be at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.
