Willard Allyn Workman passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2014. He was a born in Milford, Del., the son of Louise (Davis) Workman and the late Willard H. Workman. He graduated from Archmere Academy and received a degree in Political Science from Long Island University. Willard was beloved and respected by many in the political community in the Washington, DC area. He worked in a variety of government agencies, including Justice, Treasury and State. He spent most of his career with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, eventually becoming Senior Vice President of International Trade. Willard further showed his enthusiasm for politics by teaching courses at the George Washington University. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Amanda Lowry and husband Franklin of Oakton, Va. He was a beloved father, son and friend. A private Funeral Mass and burial was held on Friday, June 20, 2014. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton, Del.
