Charles Soper died suddenly at his home in Keeseville today. Mr. Soper was born in Peru, Dec 27, 1862, the son of Briggs and Emily Soper. He married Nellie Ferris [11 Apr 1886] and lived in Peru, then at Keeseville.
He is survived by two sons, Maynard Soper, Keeseville, and Albert Soper of Willsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Burpee, Keeseville, and Mrs. Fred Mitchell, Ticonderoga; 13 grandchildren. The late Briggs Soper of Peru was his third son.
Funeral services will be held from Mr. Soper's home in Keeseville. Burial will be in the Methodist cemetery at Peru.
