He honorably served in the U. S. Army. John worked as a truck driver and later at McDonald's in maintenance retiring in 1999. He enjoyed cars, camping, family and friends.
John is survived by one son, John A. Grayson, and one daughter, Janell A. Grayson (Leroy) McCutcheon; grandchildren, Christopher L. (Bridgett) McCutcheon and Chad A. (Sarah) McCutcheon; six great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Tim, Andy, Jack, Jay, Tina, Emily and their families.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Selma Irene Hall Grayson who passed away on Dec. 20, 2002, his parents; great-grandson, Garret L. McCutcheon; brothers, Tommy, Danny and Charles Grayson; and sister, Ruth Richards, and half brothers Dave and Jerry Beaver.
At his request he will be cremated and a graveside service will be held at a later date.
