Mary Elisabeth Bergquist
Mary Elisabeth Bergquist, 67, of 1001 Elmwood Drive, died Monday, August 6, 1990, at her home.
Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Westminster Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Murray Travis and Fane Downs officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Bergquist was born in Weatherford and grew up in Albuquerque, N.M. She graduated from Trinity University and moved to Abilene in 1950.
She taught school for 31 years, teaching at both Johnston Elementary School and Anson Jones Elementary in Abilene for 26 years.
She was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church, where she was an ordained elder and served in many capacities on the local and presbytery level of church.
Survivors include her husband, F. Earle Bergquist of Abilene; two daughters; a brother, Ralph O. Hall of Farmington, N.M.; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Family members will receive friends immediately after the services at 1002 S. Leggett Drive.
