He was born June 21, 1921, in Missouri to John and Marie Puckett Dimon. He was married Oct. 4, 1947, to Opal Snider, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Sean, at home, and Michael, with the U.S. Navy stationed in Orlando, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Michele) Hancock of Pontiac, Mich., and Lisa Monique, at home; two grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Georgia) Brown of Holly, Mich.
He was a member of Commerce Masonic Lodge No 121, F&AM, Union Lake, Mich., and Shawnee United Presbyterian Church. He was a truck driver for the R-W Service Systems in Taylor, Mich.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the church, Rev. Jay Passick officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery. Friends may call at the Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. The body will be taken to the church at 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
