Peggy Ann Teague Davidson, 53, of Paducah, formerly of Ledbetter, died Monday at 4:37 pm at Lourdes Hospital.

She was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on March 29, 1961 to the late Jesse and Mary Teague. A lifelong lover of all animals, Peggy worked as a pet sitter for many years. She was a passionate animal advocate and found peace in St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. A kind soul and a Christian woman, Peggy was very close with her family and maintained her smile even when her health had deteriorated. She was part Cherokee and had attended several Native American Pow-Wows.

She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Davidson; two brothers, Steve Teague and wife Jane of Ledbetter and Frank Teague and wife Tina of Lone Oak; and nieces and nephews, Stephanie Tubbs, Sally Teague, Tommy Calender and Tony Calender.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Teague Calender; and her parents, Jesse Edward Teague and Mary Grace Cameron Teague.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1pm Thursday at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Dr. Jason Browning officiating. Burial will follow at Rosebower Cemetery. Memorial visitation will begin at 11am Thursday at the funeral home.
