Mr. Mark Craig, 59, of Lake Village, died Monday, August 18, 2014 at the East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Texas. Mr. Craig was a native and resident of Hamburg for many years and has lived in Lake Village for the past two years. He graduated from Ashdown High School in 1972 and he was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a Welder and owned Craig Construction Company. He was a member of the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church. He loved motorcycles and enjoyed riding his Harley and working on hot rods.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bobby Craig.

He is survived by two sons, B.J. Craig and wife, Taylor, of Sherwood; Gary Craig and wife, Kimberly, of Simpsonville, South Carolina; two daughters, Tara Craig Smith and husband, John, of Monticello and Nicole Craig Culp and husband, Jared, of East End, Arkansas; his mother, Sue Platt of Texarkana, Texas; a brother, Randy Craig of Lake Village; two sisters, Christy Meeks and Shannon Clark both of Hamburg; seven grandchildren, Jade, Payton, Craig Allen, Morgan, Skyler, Wyatt and Maddox and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, August 22, 2014 at the Trinity Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Bruce Culp and Bro. John Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jared Culp, John Smith, Craig Allen Culp, Colt Craig, Dakota Meeks, Taelor Clark and Bruce Culp. Honorary pallbearers are Tim Pennington, Bruce Meeks, Frank Ross, Phillip Reed, Jade Craig, Payton Craig, Randy Craig and Larry Craig.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church.
