Mr. Grant was born on July 19, 1949 in Georgetown, a son of Wesley Grant and Mrs. Evelyna Moultrie Grant.
He attended Georgetown County public schools and was a member of First Calvary Church.
For several years, he was employed with Georgetown Steel Corporation and later became an entrepreneur operating his own business.
Survivors include: his wife of forty-three years, Maxine Grant; two daughters, Talisha Grant and Linette Grant; two brothers, William Earl Grant and Harold Grant; two sisters, Mary Julia Grant and Almina Wilson all of Georgetown.
