91, born in Barren County, a World War II Veteran who received the Purple Heart, died at the VA Hospital in Louisville KY August 15, 2014.
He was predeceased by his siblings and is survived by several nieces and nephews including Mary E. Fox who was his advocate and assisted with his care during his final years.
The family would like to say a special thanks to Lori Paris: VA Foster Care; his Sunday School class at Walnut St. Baptist Church, the Encouragers; Nasha Howard, his caregiver; Hosparus Unit, 5 North; and the VA Hospital for their compassion and outstanding care. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 Friday August 22, 2014 at New Albany National Cemetery, 1943 Ekin Ave, New Albany IN 47150.
