At the age of 18, Myra married her high school sweetheart, the late Robert Baker . They have three girls; Mary Renee (Rob) Pomeroy of Edmonds; Shirley Jean Baker of home; and Marti (Steve) Marks of Plain, WA.
Myra worked at the Meadowmoor, Western Gear, Alpine Restaurant and Hewlett Packard. She enjoyed the Mariners, the Seahawks, and an occasional visit to the casino.
She loved her grandchildren; Todd (Elizabeth), Tuesday, Travis and Tatum Pomeroy, and Jade Marks. She was also proud of her first great grandson, Jacob Pomeroy.
Survivors include her brothers, Gene (Doris) of Marysville, Gerald Pierce of Seattle, WA; her twin sister, Mary Naslund (Paul) of Everett, WA; and sister Shirley (Tony) Parulis of Glen Burnie, MD. She also leaves her aunt, Marilyn Scruggs of Salinas, CA, sister-in-law Loretta Ingrum of Everett, WA; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins survive her.
Myra loved a good joke, ice cream, fixing a good dinner and making sure everyone had enough to eat. She attended the First Friends Church in Everett and was a member of the Cascade View Presbyterian Church. Myra , we will love you forever.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 2, 2009 at The Cascade Presbyterian Church, 1030 E. Casino Road, Everett with the Reverend Robert Higgins officiating. Gifts in Myra 's name can be given to the Cascade View Presbyterian Church.
