Carla Jean Parker, 20 months, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don C. Parker, died at 11:15 p.m., last Thursday in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital. She was born June 23, 1957 in Montpelier.
Besides her parents, she is survived by a sister, Janice, 6, brother, James B., 4, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Nield, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Parker of Lanark, great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Noen Wilkes of Montpelier.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Montpelier Third-Fifth L. D. S. Ward Chapel with Phillip Hulme conducting. The invocation was offered by Harold Grunig, song, “Beyond Today”, vocal trio comprised of Mrs. Walter A. Hunzeker, Mrs. Dean Larsen, and Mrs. K. V. Hansen, accompanied by Mrs. Hulme, speaker, Bishop Archie Parker, vocal solo, “Sometime We’ll Understand”, Max Haddock, tribute in verse, Mrs. Paul Adams, speaker, President Frank W. Hirschi, song, “Peace I Leave With You”, trio, benediction, Ross Thurber. The prayer at home was by Darrell Nield.
Interment was in the Montpelier cemetery, and the grave was dedicated by O. T. Parker. Pallbearers were Deloy, Larry and Merlin Parker and John B. Nield. The Matthews Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
