Georgia Logsdon of Delphi passed away Sat., August 16, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi surrounded by family.
Georgia was born in Horse Cave, KY on Oct. 27, 1925 to the late James and Buella (Gentry) Haire. She attended schools in Kentucky. She married Leo Logsdon on Nov. 11, 1941 and he preceded her on March 30, 1982.
Georgia had worked at the Farabee Drive Pizza King Franchise and retired in 1990.
Georgia was a member of the Westside Flower Club and Delphi Homemakers Club. She deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She enjoyed playing cards, especially Skip-Bo and people watching with her friends.
Georgia is survived by her children: James Leo Logsdon (Arlene) of Oak View, CA, Larry Logsdon (Jeanne) of Lafayette, Barbara Cox (Edward) of Terre Haute, Brenda Goyer (Kevin) of Delphi, Marilyn Miller (Melvin) of Colburn, Charlotte Wooldridge (Pete) of Delphi, Sharon Pattengale (Dusty) of Colburn, Janice Pettit (Ned) of Bringhurst; sister, Lucille Hogan (Clifford) of Horse Cave, K; 28 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren and 29 great great grandchildren. She was preceded by her son, Clifton Wayne Logsdon and her daughter, Linda Flanigan; and 8 siblings.
Visitation will be at the First Assembly of God Church at Delphi on Friday, August 22, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. until the 1:00 p.m. service at the Church. Brad Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Morning Heights Cemetery in rural Delphi.
