Theodore P. Dupuis, 85, was stricken ill at his home, 67 Washington st., about 6 p.m. Wednesday and rushed in the Richer ambulance to Mercy General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Holy Name Church and interment will be in Holy Name Cemetery here.
He was born at Cheneville, Que., Dec. 10, 1883, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dupuis, and had made his home here about 64 years, working as a teamster for Peter Propp & Son for many years, and later for the Village of Tupper Lake.
Surviving are his wife, Delina LaGoy Dupuis: five daughters: Mrs. Romeo (Gladys) Benware, Mrs. John (Beatrice) Cassell, Mrs. Arthur (Lillian) LaFave, Mrs. Ames (Goldie) Benware, all of Tupper Lake, and Mrs. Hector (Queenie) Reed of Plattsburgh; three sons: Philip, of St. Johnsbury, Vt.; Percy, Tupper Lake, and Roy Dupuis, Paul Smiths; 30 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
