Bud served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict as as a military policeman. He was a lifetime resident of the Gypsum and Assaria areas and was a farmer and stockman. He worked for the ASCS office in Salina for forty years, enjoyed bowling for many years with the Lefties bowling team, and was an avid pitch player.
On November 13, 1976 he and Betty Laas Jensen were married at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Salina. He is survived by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Teresa Swisher and Danette Toone; a son Mike Jensen; and a sister JoAnn Karber; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
