Wallace R. Albin Sr, 86 years old of Springfield, Louisiana, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014, at North Oaks Medical Center.
Wallace was born on Saturday, March 31, 1928, in Albany.
Surviving are wife of 65 years, Lena Threeton Albin, sons & daughters-in-law, Rodney and Laura Albin, Ronnie and Verda Albin, daughter-in-law, Brenda Albin, grandchildren, Marcy, Ricky, Tiffany, Christie, Reuben, Lena, Rachel, Shannon and Dewayne, also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, , 2 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by parents, Bessie and Daniel Blue Albin, son, Randolph "Randy" Albin, sister, Doris Albin Jones, brothers, Daniel Blue Albin Jr., Donald Grady Albin, William Herbert Albin, and J.C. Albin.
Friends will be received Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 8:00 am until 11:00 am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula.
Services will be held at Funeral Home Chapel - Ponchatoula, Wednesday, at 11:00 am. with Father Jamon David officiating
Interment will follow in the Carter Cemetery Springfield, Louisiana.
