Lantry -- Mass of Christian burial for Martha Schrempp, 93, of Lantry, will be 10 a.m. (MDT) Saturday at All Saints Catholic Church in Eagle Butte. The Rev. John Klingler and the Rev. Tom Westhoven will officiate.
Burial will be in the Eagle Butte Cemetery with Kesling Funeral Home in Mobridge in charge of arrangements.
A rosary service will be at 8(MDT) tonight at the church, followed by an all night wake service.
She died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 1996, at St. Mary's Hospital in Pierre.
Martha Marie Uhing was born April 21, 1903, to Fred & Theresia Uhing in Bow Valley, Neb.

On May 13, 1924, she married Arthur Schrempp in Menomonee, Neb. In 1927, they moved to South Dakota where she had since resided. She was a pioneer lady in the late 1920's and early 1930's in South Dakota.
She was active with her church and involved with the Alter Society.
Survivors include one daughter, Charleen Hickenbotham of Layton, Utah; four sons, Richard Schrempp, Dean Schrempp, and Larry Schrempp, all of Lantry, and Ronald Schrempp of Winnemucca, NV; one adopted son, George Weisbeck of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sisters, Annie Dietch of Bow Valley, and Marie Mallet of Lauren, NE; 26 grandchildren; and 45 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, her husband, four brothers and two sisters.
Casketbearers will be Pat Schrempp, John Schrempp, Rick Schrempp, Dakotah Schrempp, Bret Hickenbotham and Jeff Schrempp.
The organist will be Helen Clauson, and special music will be provided by Kelly Jewett and Mike Schrempp. Ushers will be Norman Meyer and Ryan Schrempp. Mass server will be Allen Schrempp.
