“Rev. Clarence C. Bline, 78, rural Annapolis, died about 7:30 a.m. today at his residence following an extended illness.
“Born in Annapolis on July 27, 1911, he was a son of Clarence Clayton and Clara Niblo Bline. He was ordained in 1933 and was pastor of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church and the Kimlim Church of Martinsville. He was the postmaster of Annapolis Post Office from 1943-1945, was a rural carrier for 29 ½ years, and was a school teacher, having taught at Muddy Creek School, west of Annapolis.
“A graduate of John Swaney High School, he attended Bethel College in McKenzie, Tenn., and Charleston Teacher's College.
“On Nov. 25, 1936, he married Vivian Tracy, and she survives.
“Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Connie Bline, rural Annapolis; a daughter, Reta Bline, Robinson; two brothers, Robert Bline, Clovis, N.M., and J. Brooks BIine, Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Ruth Link, Clovis; two grandchildren, Terry Bline, Roanoke, and Tamara Bline, Annapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
“Preceding him in death were two brothers, John Bline and Ned BLine; a sister, Edith Varner; and an infant daughter. ...
