Born Michael Bray, son of Michael and Elizabeth Bray of Newark, NJ, Father Kevin Bray O.S.B. was a teacher and a Benedictine monk of St. Mary's Abbey in Morristown, New Jersey. He taught for many years at the Delbarton School in Morristown. He also served at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Elizabeth, NJ. In 1963, Fr. Kevin spent a year in Brazil working as a missionary priest with his confrere, Fr.Edmund Nugent .
