..Anthony Szatrowski graduated from Johnstown High School, Johnstown, Pa, in 1964. I remember Tony as being a bright student.
He attended Grace Assembly Church in Johnstown with his parents, Marek and Marie who were immigrants . Tony dated the former Patricia Ott who attended the same church and shortly after her graduation from JHS in 1965 they married. They had no children. Tony served as a United States Marine during the Viet Nam war. Tony and Pat left Johstown for Ohio coming back on occasion to visit with their parents, but, according to Pat, had no reason later, after the passing of their parents, to visit Johnstown. The name of Szatrowski brought Tony and his wife into constant difficulties with people at work, hospitals and other places not being able to pronounce their name leading to dangerous situations. With no regret they changed their last name to Blake making living life easier.
.. Pat said that Tony was a private person. At this time I have no information on his date of death or place of burial and only that he died of a massive heart attack.
But I can say that he is yet another classmate of the Johnstown High School class of 1964 that will be greatly missed and remembered. Rest in Peace Tony.
