She is survived by her daughter Denise Smith and husband Danny Smith of Bridge Creek, her sister Shirley Wallace & family of Duncanville Texas, her daughter in law Gerrie Hensley of Norman, her granddaughters Sherena Kish, Danielle Smith and wife Ryan, Natalie Castillo and husband Kelly, Christy Caldwell and husband Jason, Staci Grimes and husband Ken, Kristi Sloan and husband Casey, Sarah Ansari, and 1 grandson Keaton Mills and wife Christy. Betty also had 17 great grandchildren and 1 great- great grandchild.
Betty was a homemaker for many years and raised her 4 children and granddaughter before entering the workforce later in life. She worked for Sears in customer service for almost 30 years and was a people person! She loved to dance (square danced for years) & loved to country dance. She loved her morning coffee, walking the mall with her friends and traveling as well. She loved to watch sports whether it was OU & OSU football if not playing OU, Dallas Cowboys football & women's basketball! She was a hoot to watch a game with! She loved spending time with her many family members and their different activities. She also loved to play cards and/or board games too and was a pretty good loser too wink! wink!
Betty could light up a room with her love, laughter and great heart! She was 1 in a million and she will be forever missed! Our hearts are full knowing she will now be with her loved ones that preceded her!
A Viewing will be held Monday, November 7th 2022 at Sunny Lane Funeral Home from 2-5pm, 4000 SE 29th Street. Del City, OK 73115. The funeral service will be on Tuesday the 8th at 10am at Sunny Lane.
