DAVID OPPHILE CLAIMED FRIDAY
David Opphile, 89, died at his home on Chestnut St, Friday afternoon at 3:00 from complications.
He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs David Opphile and was born near Ragersville, where he spent his early life.
The widow, Susannah Hartman Opphile, four daughters and one son survive. The children are; Mrs Lucy Cosner, Newcomerstown; Mrs Kathryn Burchfield, Mrs May Houston and Mrs Charlotte Dine, all of Canton and Elmer Opphile of Post Boy. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Church Rev. Charles Foust officiating. Burial was made in the Port Washington Cemetery.
