Virginia Frances Pearson, age 82, of Russellville, KY, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014, at the Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital in Bowling Green.
Virginia Frances was born in Logan County, KY, on June 24, 1932, to the late Jimmy Herbert and Dovie Adamson Farmer. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Elkton Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John J Pearson and a son, Roger Pearson.
Virginia Frances is survived by one daughter, Frances Inez Hendrix and husband Keith of Russellville. Four sons – Joe Wayne Pearson of Franklin, KY, Lloyd Junior Pearson and wife Sheila, Randall Lee Pearson and wife Sherry, Larry Eugene Pearson and wife Laura, all of Russellville. Brothers – Fletcher Farmer and wife, Mildred, James Farmer and wife Gloria, both of Russellville, David Farmer and wife April of Murfreesboro, TN, Glenn Farmer, of Nashville, TN and Harold Farmer and wife, Linda of Smyrna, TN. Sisters – Lorene Hutto and husband, Dick, Helen Canler and husband, Hoppie, and Doris Fuller and husband, Johnny, all of Russellville. Several Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and one Great, Great Grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel with Bro. Tim Hughes and Bro. Craig Jackson officiating. Visitation will begin after 5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, August 19th at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Russellville
