Gary A. Kimble, age 67, of Canton, passed away suddenly, on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. He was born in Canton, OH on February 15, 1947 to the late, John and Violet Pauline Kimble. Gary proudly served his county in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Canton City Fire Department, retiring in 2007 following 33 years of service. He was an avid fisherman, member of the Myer's Lake Fishing Club and the McKinley Eagle's. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John D. Kimble. Survivors include his children, Thomas (Amy) Kimble and Christine Kimble; grandchildren, Allysen, Brandon and Ava; and his wife, Therese Kimble. A Last Alarm service will be conducted on Monday at 11am in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel. Funeral services will immediately follow with Minister Jeff Bullock officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4pm and one hour prior to the service from 10-11am on Monday in the funeral home.
