SWEET - Marcia J. Sweet, age 87, of Middleville, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011, after a brief illness. She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Stewart to whom she was married for sixty seven years. She also is survived by four loving daughters. They are: Carole Zylman (Terry) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Barbara Jackson of Lansing, Michigan, Susan Sweet of Hastings, Michigan, and Nancy Ainslie (Robert) of Middleville, Michigan; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her much-loved brother, Alan Henning (Pat) of Middleville, Michigan, and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. Born February 14, 1924, she was preceded in death by her parents, Ellsworth and Ruby Henning of Middleville, Michigan; her brother, Gerald Henning and sister, Artis Polhemus. Marcia's strong Christian faith sustained her throughout her life during good and challenging times. Next to her family, Marcia most treasured her many friends with whom she enjoyed many wonderful days. A celebration of life will be conducted Saturday, August 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. the Beeler - Gores Funeral Home, Middleville, Michigan, Dr Michael T. Conklin, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Middleville United Methodist Church, 111 Church St, Middleville, Michigan, 49333 will be appreciated.
