Robert “Bob” Rowley, 61, of Riverton died Monday, March 24, 2014 at his home in Riverton.

Robert Rowley was born October 5, 1952 in Fillmore, Utah to Freeman and Barbara (Hopkins) Rowley. He grew up in Fillmore and graduated high school in Fillmore. He has lived the majority of his life in Riverton.

He worked in the Gas Hills as a dump truck operator and traveled all over as a bridge builder for CC & G of Lander. In 2008 he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and retired from work.

His family said he enjoyed fishing, collecting coins, and rocks. He especially enjoyed deer hunting with his brothers and father in years past. He also enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren.

He is survived by his spouse of 36 years, Carrie Harding. Together they raised two children. He is also survived by his son Kenneth Looper and wife Cassandra of Riverton; daughter, Ashley Harding of Riverton; five grandchildren, Madison, Dawson, Mayson, Roxton, and Ayvrie; his mother, Barbara Rowley of Delta, Utah; four brothers, Rex Rowley and wife LaJeanne of Fillmore, Utah, Marc Rowley and wife Carolyn of Fillmore, Utah, Duane Rowley and wife Toine of Holden, Utah; John Rowley and wife Dorrie of Fillmore, Utah; numerous nieces and nephews.
