WINNEBAGO, Neb. | Lacy Jean Thomas, 26, of Winnebago died Monday, Aug. 11, 2014, at her residence.

Services will be 10 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Winnebago. Burial will be in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be until service time today at the Ho-Chunk Building in Winnebago, with Mr. Clinton Free in charge. Arrangements are under the direction of Munderloh-Smith Funeral Home in Pender, Neb.

Lacy was born on April 19, 1988, to Barbara Levering Walker and Michael Oliver Thomas. She attended St. Augustine Grade School, Boys Town and Winnebago Public School.

She was a loving aunt to many, many children and grandmother to her older sister's children.

She is survived by her daughter, Iyana Karen Warner; her parents, Barbara and Richard Walker; maternal grandmother, Ellen Levering; three brothers, Lawrence Bassette, Howard Bassette III, and Michael Thomas; a sister, Idelle (Michael) Grant; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Tressa Freemont Blackbird; grandfather, Nelson Levering; and father, Michael Thomas.
