Lynn G. Brock, 78, passed away August 14, 2014, at the Little Sisters of the Poor Sacred Heart Home after a long and brave battle with COPD. A Toledo native, Lynn was born January 29, 1936, to the late James and Lillie (Beaty) Brock. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Beverly (Fredericks) Brock; brother, Keith; sister, Emaline, and nephews, Harlan and Mike Brock.

Lynn retired in 2000 from Libby Glass and had also been employed with Dura from 1959-1991. He was a member of the UAW and Flint Glass Workers. Lynn enjoyed watching baseball and was a fan of both the Toledo Mud Hens and Walleye. He was "the life of the party" and will be remembered for his outgoing personality and good sense of humor.

Surviving are his daughters, Cindy Brock and Peggy Brock-Reiter (Scott); brother, James Brock Jr.; niece, Jill Tilden; nephews, Gary, Steve, Don and Brian Brock; grandchildren, Sarah Sears, Brent and Nathaniel Reiter, and great-grandchildren, Alex, Victoria and Maddie.

Friends are invited to visit from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Monday in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.). Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the Little Sisters of the Poor, 930 Wynn Rd., Oregon, OH 43616, where additional visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorials are suggested to the Little Sisters of the Poor.
