Ricky Lynn Russell, age 61 of Lexington, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 in Jackson, with his family who loved him dearly by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was a carpenter, a Baptist in belief and attended Central Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Jason (Theresa) Russell; 3 sisters, Betty Dyer of Lexington, Mary Allen of Beech Bluff and Wanda Austin of Reagan; 3 brothers, Jackie and Joe Russell of Lexington, and Larry Russell of Huron; and 3 grandchildren, Taylor, Madeline and Evan Russell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Nadine Russell, and 2 brothers, Robert and Gene Russell.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 18th at 2 p.m., at Reeds Chapel, with burial to follow in the Nebo Cemetery.
