James "Jimmy" S. Atwell, 48, of West Monroe, passed from this life on Monday, July 21, 2014, at the LSU Medical Center in Shreveport.
Jimmy was born November 25, 1965 in Winnfield, and grew up in Georgetown.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, August 2, at the First Baptist Church in Urania.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda E. White.
Survivors include his father, Willie D. Atwell, and a brother, Todd M. Atwell, both of Georgetown, and a sister, Kelly M. Atwell of Olla.
