Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 10 a.m. Saturday, March 5, until religious service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Carroll of Broadmoor United Methodist Church. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Edith Abington Middleton; two daughters and a son-in-law, Col. Janet Middleton Wallace and Col. David Wallace, U.S. Air Force, and Ann Middleton; son, William Charles "Bill" Middleton; sister, Elizabeth Ginn; granddaughter and spouse, Jennifer and Matt Savoie; and great-grandchildren, Henry, Samantha, Emma, Elizabeth and Caroline Savoie. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Monroe Middleton and Olive Buvens Middleton; five brothers and four sisters. He was a graduate of Many High School and Schreiner Institute, Kerrville, Texas. He was a member of the Exxon Annuitant Club and Sherwood Forest Country Club and was affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Broadmoor United Methodist Church.
