Douglas Hawk, aged 8, only son of Mr. and Mrs. I. Wright Hawk, of Berwick, died in Berwick Hospital yesterday afternoon following an emergency operation for
appendicitis.
Besides his parents, the child is survived by his grandparents, Councilman and Mrs. John T. Smethers, of Berwick.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will be in Berwick.
