Mr. Robert Lee Murry, Jr., age 39 of Griffin, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014.
Mr. Murry was born May 12, 1975 in Newnan. He was a member of Revival Temple Church of God in Christ. Mr. Murry took pride in repairing cars and was very creative. He was employed with his father at Robert's Collision Center at 1416 Meriwether Street.
Survivors include his parents, Robert L. Murry, Sr. and Mary J. Murry of Griffin; brother, Timothy A. Murry of Griffin; sister, Melissa R. Murry of Griffin; daughters, KaShonda S. Penn of Barnesville, Alexandria A. Murry of Griffin and son, Damon D. Murry of Griffin.
Funeral services for Mr. Robert Lee Murry, Jr. will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 at the Griffin First United Methodist Church. Mr. Murry will lie in state 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in Westwood Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, August 17, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
