Frank Melton Aldridge, Jr., 68, of Pfafftown died Friday August 15, 2014 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Forsyth County on April 20, 1946 to Frank Melton Aldridge, Sr. and Margaret Shutt Aldridge. He was employed in 1966 by Norfolk Wire and Electronics/Electronic Distributing where he was Branch Manager. Frank was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 39 years Karen Culp Aldridge; three children Frank Melton Aldridge III and wife Kendrea, Tara Aldridge Boose and husband Adam, Matthew Simpson Aldridge, stepson Christopher “Todd” Beck and wife Penny; grandchildren Frank IV, Katelyn, Kassidy, Landon, Noah, Matthew, and Catherine; a sister Cordelia “Dee” Allen; and a number of Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-8 pm at Salem Funeral Home Reynolda Chapel, corner of Polo and Reynolda road. A graveside will be held 11:00 am Tuesday August 19, at Forsyth Memorial Park.
