Ada I. Acock, 71, of Kansas City, died June 28, 1988 at the Truman Medical Center in Kansas City.

She was born Aug. 27, 1916 in Kansas City to John and Hattie Simpson Cross. She lived in the Kansas City area most of her life.

Survived by sisters, Mary Dalton, Phyllis Sartin, Florence Phillips and Ollie Mae Irvin; and brothers, John Cross, Bill Cross and Richard Cross.

Funeral services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at the Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Phillips Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Eldon City Cemetery.
