GREENOUGH, Myrlan Frederick ─ 71, Windsor, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2013, in Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Windsor, on June 11, 1942, he was a son of the late Frederick and Mary 'Drusilla' Greenough.
Myrlan grew up on the family farm in Stanley then moved out west where he worked as a crane operator and carpenter. He enjoyed working with oxen.
Myrlan is survived by his brothers, Murray (Muriel), Riverview, N.B.; Lloyd, Sylvan Lake, Alta.; Graham (Penny), Spruce Groove, Alta.; and Charlie (Terry), Stanley; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister-in-law, Delores.
Cremation has taken place with no visitation by request. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 6 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Anglican Cemetery, Stanley, Pastor Debra Mosher officating. Reception to follow in Stanley Community Hall, Stanley. Family flowers only, donations can be made to Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
