Joe proudly served in the Pacific for the US Navy during WWII, as a Fire Control Officer. After the war, he married Billie Jeanette Chatham, the love of his life, and they began a loving journey together that lasted 65 years. He was a member of IBEW Local 716 for 64 years.
He is survived by his wife Jeanette and 3 sons, Rodney (Karen), Roger (Rochelle) and Rickey. He had 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing prior to the service in the chapel at Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home, Thursday August 30, 2012 at 2:30PM. Interment will follow.
