He leaves to mourn his home going, a loving wife, Mrs. Louise Spencer; seven children, Mrs. Betty Moore of St. Louis, Missouri, James Spencer of the United States Army, Kansas City, Missouri, Keith Spencer of the United States Army, Bobby Spencer of the United States Army, Germany, Mrs. Vera Binnberry, Kelly, and Kelvin Spencer all of Indianapolis, Indiana; seven step-children, Charlie, Sherry, Yolanda and Tavonica Dobbin, Ronnie, Randy, and Jacqueline Junior, all of Little Rock and Monticello, Arkansas; four sisters, Mildred Jones, Ollie Lambert, Beatrice Ridgell, and Josephine Dodds all of Monticello, Arkansas; two brothers, Robert Will Cobb of Monroe, Lousiana, and William Spencer of Lacey, Arkansas; twenty-one grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
