Son of the late James V. Hogan and wife Miriam, nee Avery, was born Jan. 24, 1926, in Franklin County. He received his education from Pacific High School. He was united in marriage to Helen Wells June 22, 1947, in Pacific. Don was the owner of Hogan Dairy, Pacific. He was a member of Pacific Methodist Church and the Masonic Lodge, Pacific. Don is survived by his wife, Helen Hogan, Pacific; four sons, Don Hogan and wife Doris, Washington, Alan Hogan and wife Linda, Fredericktown, Michael Hogan and wife Janet, Fenton, and Dennis Hogan and wife Mary Lynn, Columbia, Ill.; three brothers, Jim V. Hogan Jr., Eureka, David C. Hogan, Villa Ridge, and Howard Thomas Hogan and wife Frankie Jo, Washington; one sister, Miriam Ruth Hogan, Villa Ridge; 15 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by one son, Wayne Hogan; parents, James and Miriam Hogan; one brother, Robert Hogan; and two sisters, Martha Prichard and Marilyn Smith.
