Sammy Clay Harris of Thurmond passed away December 14, 2005 at Northern Surry Hospital.
Mr. Harris was born February 4, 1950 in Surry County to Grady Winfield and Olene Perry Harris.
He was a veteran of the N.C. Army National Guard and served for 29 years at the unit in Elkin.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle Stottsberry Harris; a son, Jonathan Harris; a step-son, Nicolas Padron; daughters, Andrea Harris and Anna Harris; brothers, Charlie W. Harris, Jerry A. Harris (April) and Michael S. Harris; and sister, Judy H. Baker (Jeff).
Funeral services will be held at Union Hill Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
