Funeral services for Johnny Hamilton, age 48, of Little Rock, Arkansas formerly of Prescott, Arkansas, will be held in Munns Chapel Baptist Church Prescott, Arkansas. with Rev. Vernon Meeks officiating. Eulogist will be Rev. Snow Palmer. Burial will be in DeAnn Cemetery with services provided by Brandon’s Mortuary, Inc. Hope, Arkansas.
Johnny Hamilton was born February 12, 1966 in Prescott, Arkansas. He was the son of the late Mary Helen Shaw and the son of Thomas Hamilton, Jr. He departed his earthly home Monday, August 11, 2014 at his residence in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Johnny was a graduate of Prescott High School. He was of the Pentecostal Faith and he had been called into the ministry.
Johnny was working as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Premier Nursing Home in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
He was predeceased by his mother; two Brothers James Burton and Edward Burton.
Left to keep his memories alive are his father Thomas Hamilton, Jr. of Prescott, Arkansas; two brothers: Curtis Brown (Sabrina) of Texarkana, Texas and Anthony C. Johnson (Beth) of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters: Carolyn Burton of Camden, Arkansas and Janice Brown of Prescott, Arkansas; two half-sisters: Paulette Baker of Revere, Florida and Angela Hamilton of Killeen, Texas; half-brother Troy Hamilton of North Little Rock, Arkansas;
two special Aunts: Annie Gossett of Camden, Arkansas and Joyce Green Buford of Prescott, Arkansas; a special uncle C. L. Shaw (Quinnie B. ) of Prescott, Arkansas, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
