John R. Sprang, 65, of Rt. 2. Two Rivers, died Thursday night at Brown County Health Care Center, Green Bay.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Two Rivers. The Rev. Paul Schumacher will officiate with burial in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Town of Kossuth.
Mr. Sprang was born Nov. 4, 11911, in the Town of Two Rivers, son of the late Adolph and Rose Jacquette Sprang. He married Lilah Retzlaff Aug 10, 1932, at Two Rivers and has been employed with Chicago North Western Railway until the time of his injury.
Survivors include his wife, a son, Harlan, of Rt. 2, Two Rivers, a daughter, Shirley Sprang, of Manitowoc; five brothers, Anton, Joseph and Melvin, of Manitowoc, Leo, of Arizona and Herbert, of Francis Creek; a sister, Mrs. Leona Konetzka, of Manitowoc and three grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 o'clock this Friday afternoon, where a memorial service will be at 7 o'clock.
Memorials may be made to Roncalli High School scholarship fund.
